• Salem State University Earth Day Events. The Salem State Earth Days Planning Committee has extended an invitation to the NSCC community to participate in their Earth Days events. • 45th Forum on Tolerance. • 2021 NSCC Visiting Writer Event. During Arts in April, visiting writer and North Shore alumnus John R. Nelson will present a slide show and read from his new collection of essays, Flight Calls: Exploring Massachusetts through Birds, described as "somewhere between a personal memoir, a true-life adventure, and a birder's personal journey." • Dis/Misinformation: Perspectives and Pedagogies for Educators in the Post-Truth Era. Harvard University's Global Studies Outreach Center is offering their 9th annual free summer educator workshop virtually over a two-week period: July 26 - August 6. Share Your Online/Blended Teaching Practices with the World!

"The editorial board of the Teaching Online Pedagogical Repository (TOPR) is pleased to announce a call for submissions for new TOPR entries from now until March 15, 2021. This resource is a go-to destination for faculty and designers. Last year, over 130,000 users visited TOPR in search of ideas for online and blended teaching strategies. Each peer-reviewed entry is highly focused on one teaching practice with a solid description, concrete example(s), relevant professional practice or research literature, and key words connecting to other practices. Please consider submitting an entry using the submission form at: https://topr.online.ucf.edu/."

You can view all of the online and blended learning pedagogical practices at https://topr.online.ucf.edu/pedagogical-practice/. They are organized into three categories – course content, interaction, and assessment.
